Training Pathway
Civilian Self-Protection & Personal Safety
Everyday safety explained in plain language, with no professional security background required. The focus is prevention, awareness, avoidance and safe emergency response — recognising problems early, staying out of them where possible, and knowing what to do if something happens.
Who it is for: Individuals, families, employees, students, travellers and community groups.
Access and limitations
Civilian programmes are awareness and prevention based. They emphasise avoidance, de-escalation and safe withdrawal, and do not include confrontation, physical intervention or weapons instruction. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
